Location / Access / Distances
Located right between Lake Tamango (also known as Central Lake) and Lake Cajón (also known as Lago Chico).
The access road to the lakes leads directly to this property.
The northern limit of the property is the outflow-inflow of the two lakes.
100 km from Coihaique or about a half an hour drive (24 km) on good gravel road from Puerto Ingeniero Ibáñez. The last 1,5 km are dirt, but good drivable road, Altitude: 555 a. s. l.
Development / Existing constructions
The lot has excellent spots for building.
In the vicinity there is a small private lodge, on the neighbouring property.
There's an old, small shed, absolutely unusable for any purpose.
Topography
Basically even, flat grounds, amidst mountainous country.
Borders on both mentioned lakes! A creek presents the northern limit, where trouts swim from one lake to the other.
Rocky shores on the Lago Tamango side, sandy beach on the Lago Cajón side.
Vegetation
Native forests, Nothofagus species: Lenga, Ñirre, Coigue.
Both lakes are known worldwide (!!) for the fishing grounds, especially fly-fishing.
Fishermen come from all over, for the well sized trouts (brown, rainbow and others).
Note
This is one of the last properties for sale on the shores of both of these lakes. Especially foreigners and wealthy Chileans have bought almost all the good lands here, during the past few years.
