Well equipped inn with bungalows, middle class, in business since 8 years, mentioned in many guidebooks.
In the small patagonian town of Puerto Ibañez, on the north shore of Lake General Carrera, with splendid view on Castillo Mountain.
Since 2007 entirely paved road to Coyhaique (120 km) and Balmaceda airport (80 km).
Starting point to all points of interest, basically in the lake basin, with an enormous potential in tourism; not quite discovered yet.
Building / Rooms / Technical installations
Main building is a brick-house, from the fifties, built by a french engineer. 2 stories, with 2 dinig rooms for guests. Separate 2 room flat, with independent entrance.
5 cabins / bungalows, for 2 to 8 pers. each, very well equipped and in excellent condition.
1 huge bbq-house, own kitchen. Completely equipped, is used a lot for all kind of events. Under the same roof are the administration - reception hall.
Note
A great option for people, who wish to be active participants in the development of tourism in this part of the country, Patagonia.
The hostel is by far the best and well known establishment in this area.
